professional work from FMDS, India

Principal Architect: Faisal Manzur

During my employment at Faisal Manzur Design Studio (FMDS), I was the project lead for this residential interior project. After analyzing various styles of interior design, we went along with mid-century modern to create a rustic yet modern home for a family of four. By using furniture inspired by Sergio Rodriguez, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanerette, etc., the residence was brought back to life. The wooden flooring, wallpaper, and art pieces sourced from local artists of India add an artsy look that enhances the spaces. From creating presentations for the clients to the execution, I’m glad to say I was a part of this design. My experience in this project increased my knowledge in the realm of interior architecture and also allowed me to broaden my on-site experience, organization skills, and coordination of the labor and vendors.
